Marina Goiny

Marina Goiny was born in Moscow in 1964, where her father worked as an economics expert. Living both in Dresden and Moscow, she grew up bilingually, speaking German and Russian. Having spent many years as a musician and assistant director for documentaries, she eventually turned to professional interpreting and translation. For many years, she led the language service of the German Consulate General for the Foreign Office in St. Petersburg. Since 2001, she has accompanied top-level German politicians and entrepreneurs on their travels to Russia.
Marina Goiny alternates between living in Berlin and Saint Petersburg.
